Reclaimed Blue Lias Paving

Local to North East Worcestershire, reducing environmental impact while honouring the region’s heritage.

The paving around the garden is made from locally sourced, reclaimed Blue Lias stone, a material native to the North East Worcestershire region. This stone, rich in history and character, has been carefully salvaged to reduce the environmental impact of sourcing new materials. The use of reclaimed stone adds texture and authenticity to the garden, creating pathways that tell the story of the land and its heritage. Each stone is unique, worn by time, and as visitors walk along them, they are invited to reflect on the passage of time itself—how the earth, like memory, absorbs and holds onto stories from the past.

Local Stone – "Locally sourced stone from North East Worcestershire, reducing environmental impact while honoring the region’s heritage."
